Historical
Istanbul and Sea Bass on Father’s Day...
You can buy a necktie or shirt as Father’s Day gift but we are

breakfast on 19th June Sunday, choose one of the four lines of march
and start a trip at the historical peninsula. And finish your trip,
eating Kalyon's special Sea Bass at Mosaic Restaurant , enjoying the

Chef Erdal Bicer is at
Kalyon Hotel...
Chef
Erdal Bicer started his career at Istanbul Hilton Hotel in 1977. After
five years of success he worked for Garden 74 - Istanbul Hilton Hotel - Ciragan Palace - Hyatt Regency and
lastly Istanbul Divan Hotel. In March 2005, he started to work at
Kalyon Hotel as the head cook.
Famous
chef is offering selected tastes from World Cuisine along with
traditional Turkish Cuisine.

33rd International
Istanbul Music Festival started...
An
indispensable event for the music life in Istanbul, the International
Istanbul Music Festival started on the night of June 6th, Monday, with an
opening ceremony and concert held at Hagia Eirene Museum. Later, there was a
reception at the garden of the Archaeological Museum.
Following the
ceremony, the orchestra of the Foundation since 2003, Borusan Istanbul
Philharmonic Orchestra gave a concert under the baton of the maestro of
Moscow State Symphonic Orchestra, Pavel Kogan. The soloists were Alexander
Melnikov on the piano and Gabriel Posdarescu on the trumpet.

Golden Men of the Month:
We celebrated 2005 Hidrellez Festival...
9th jury
meeting of 3rd 11 Golden Men Competition is sponsored by IŽIK SŻGORTA at
Kalyon Hotel. Votes of sports authorities, sports journalists and sports
department managers of media determined successful goalkeeper Faryd
Mondragon from Galatasaray as Gold, Rustu Recber from Fenerbahce as Silver
and Michael Petkovic form Trabzonspor as Bronze men. At the forward, goal
king of 2004-2005 season, Fatih Tekke from Trabzonspor and Hakan Sukur from
Galatasaray are selected as Gold, Marcio Nobre from Fenerbahce and Necati
Ates from Galatasaray became the Silver strikers. Zafer Biryol from
Konyaspor and Ibrahim Akin from Besiktas are Bronze Men in forward players
category. |

Excellent samples of 'Colors of Water' are meeting enthusiasts since
